Welcome to EnVan

Ingress is a location-based, augmented-reality mobile game developed by Niantic, the makers of Pokemon Go, Pikmin Bloom and other location-based games. Players choose one of two factions, the Enlightened who hope to improve humanity by learning about exotic matter and advancing towards a peaceful future, and the resistance who seek to hold humanity back.

The game is played by visiting real-world locations where humans gather and creativity flows (landmarks, works of art, etc) known in the games as portals. The goal is to claim these portals for your team and connect portals together.

Ingress game play can be as simple or as complex as you want it to be: you can work alone, or with a team. While playing the game, you will learn about landmarks you’ve never seen before, works of art you have walked past and things of historical value to a city. You will find yourself walking further than usual just to play and while doing so you can meet new friends and become part of a community.
